Bocce has always been a strong part of our community and we are bringing it back with the new Rollers Bocce! We are here to bring the life of the party to the game. Rollers offers 3 fully renovated Bocce Courts with a new turf that will surely get your balls roll’in. The new space features HD TVs for an optimal game experience, delicious food, and tasty drinks from Pallino’s. Gather your friends, bring your family, book a court, and Let’s Roll!

HOW TO PLAY

YOU'LL NEED 8 BOCCE BALLS, 1 PALLINO (LITTLE TARGET BALL), 2 TEAMS OF EVEN SIZES (RECOMMEND 2V2 OR 4V4), AND A COURT AT ROLLERS!

STEP 1

Decide what team goes first; rock-paper-scissors, coin toss, who can hold their breath the longest, it’s your pick! Team 1 throws the pallino (white target ball) and then rolls the first bocce ball as close to the pallino as possible.

STEP 2

Team 2 then tries to roll a bocce ball closer to the pallino than Team 1. Team 2 continues rolling until they are closer. Each player on a side must throw 2 balls in the frame.

STEP 3

If Team 2 uses all four bocce balls and fails to get closer to the pallino than Team 1’s starting bocce ball, Team 1 has to roll their remaining balls while trying to place them closer than Team 2’s closest ball.

STEP 4

However, if Team 2 succeeds in placing one of their bocce balls closer to the pallino, than Team 1 must roll again to attempt to get closer. Remember that teams do not simply alternate terms.

SCORING

Only the team with the ball closest to the pallino is awarded points in a frame. Points are awarded for each bocce closest to the pallino.
A team can score up to four points per frame.
If the closest bocce ball of each team is equal in distance from the pallino, no points are awarded.
The team that scores in a frame starts the next frame by throwing out the pallino and playing the first bocce.
Teams will play to a predetermined score; Rollers' scoreboards play to 12.
To claim your crown, you must win by 2 points.
